    Job Role

    Spice is working in partnership across South East Wales with a range of host organisations, schools and local community groups to extend and deepen its innovative Time Credits systems. One of our largest programmes in the region is the Cardiff Council ‘Communities’ programmes, which aims to offer citizens of the City a multitude of ways to earn and spend Time Credits, as well as co-producing and supporting how services are delivered through programmes such as Families First. We’re looking for a Project Coordinator able to support the delivery of innovative outcomes citywide that create real change in the lives of people and their communities. The post holder will be expected to:

    1. Support project marketing and communications to individuals, community groups and organisations and partners

    2. Work alongside team members to deliver events, activities and training sessions

    3. Manage relationships with key partners in our community and spend networks across third, public and private sectors.

    4. Develop and deliver administrative systems and processes to support all aspects of project work

    5. Support Spice to prove the impact of its work through liaison with individual members, community groups and other organisational partners

    You are methodical, organised, consistent and reliable. You work well with others but are equally adept at seizing the initiative and developing creative and effective solutions to the task at hand. You’re a people person who likes to build relationships and is passionate about seeing positive change in our communities.

    Additional Information

    Based in: Cardiff.

    Starting Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 plus pension

    Contract type: 1 year fixed term with potential to extend subject to funding

    Fulltime – 0.8 FTE (4 days / 30 hours per week)

    Responsible to: Senior Project Manager: SE Wales

    You will need to be flexible regarding working hours and location. Evening and weekend working will be a small but important part of the role.

    This role is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check

    Interview date: 8th May 2017. If you are successful you will be invited to a second round interview on 10th May 2017.
