    Today is a perfect day for opening a new door! We are looking for a motivated and talented Project Manager to get the Open Doors project off the ground, manage and monitor its activities and budgets.

    Job Role

    Open Doors project is a two year Big Lottery Funded project which will be delivered by Tai Pawb in partnership with the Residential Landlords Association (RLA). The project will empower tenants from minority and underrepresented groups and landlords/letting agents in the private rented sector to act in order to prevent and reduce discrimination and mistreatment in the sector. The project will support, advise on and raise awareness of key rights, responsibilities and solutions amongst private tenants from diverse groups, such as migrants, LGBT or disabled tenants, who are a greater risk of experiencing specific tenancy issues. At the same time, with the help from RLA, Open Doors will work with private landlords and letting agents, to improve their capacity to deal with

    issues related to equality and diversity.

    We are looking for a motivated and talented Project Manager to get the Open Doors project off the ground, manage and monitor its activities and budgets. You will be responsible for managing the project as well as leading on landlord

    activities, including recruiting and coordinating volunteer landlord equality champions. You will have a sound understanding of equality and diversity issues related to privately rented housing. You will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to engage, understand, influence and work with private landlords and letting agents. You will have a strong project and budget management skills, be able to think creatively and laterally and use a variety of community involvement methods to engage landlords with the project.
