    As Chief Executive Officer, you will report to our volunteer Board of Trustees, working together to develop and implement our organisational strategy, whilst having responsibility for the day-to-day operations, people, governance, finance, and resources.

    Citizens Advice Rhondda Cynon Taff (CARCT) is an independent charity and a company limited by guarantee operating mainly in RCT but also delivering specific projects in neighbouring counties including Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil, Swansea and Neath Port Talbot.

    We provide free, independent, impartial and confidential advice from our main offices in Pontypridd and Mountain Ash and at our community outreaches throughout Rhondda Cynon Taff. We also run discrimination awareness training sessions across Wales

    Job Role

    As our ideal candidate, you will have a strong record of accomplishment in strategic development of people and services, including effective change management

    You will also be capable of producing and delivering a business plan to fulfil organisational objectives, with a strong track record of successful fundraising and diversification.

    A comprehensive understanding of Political, Economic, Social, technological, Legal and Environmental trends and factors as they relate to advice services will also be beneficial to your success in this role.
